The production of the first SAHIN engine bearings began over 60 years ago as a small family business in Istanbul, Turkey. The production capacity has since multiplied. Today, a modern factory with multiple production lines and ISO certification stands where the workshop used to be. SAHIN has met the general quality management standard ISO 9001 and the automotive quality management standard ISO 16949 since 2004. Annually, 32-36 million sets of engine plain bearings alone are produced, making the company a market leader in the Turkish market. SAHIN supplies bearings for first factory assembly (OEM) to, among others, RENAULT, FIAT, DACIA, FORD, and PERKINS car and commercial vehicle engines. In addition, their products are exported to over 70 countries for the aftermarket. In addition to bearing production, SAHIN has also been producing bimetal bronze raw material in its other factory in Izmir since 2012.

SAHIN's main products are:

  • camshaft bushes

The wide range of parts covers the segments of passenger cars, light and heavy trucks, tractors, and industrial engines.

It pays special attention to research and development. Annually, at least 6% of revenue is spent on modernization and the introduction of new technologies. As part of this, in 2015, it also purchased and commissioned a Miba bearing production line, through which SAHIN has also opened up to the industrial engine sector. Partners are regularly informed about the development of new raw materials and coatings.

  • reinforced, lead-free bearing material with a SPUTTER coating created by plasma spraying

  • for EURO 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 and higher engines
